Battlestar Galactica
Through the miracle that is the internet, I finished watching, the all too short Battlestar Galactica Series. It was being shown in England on SkyOne.WMA Workshop key 2.1
Only 13 episodes this first season. I hope we get more. Soon!!WMA Workshop key 2.1
I am watching them again as they show up on my PVR.

Blue Velvet
If you haven't seen Blue Velvet or have not seen it in a while, watch it. Be warned, it is somewhat graphic.WMA Workshop key 2.1

24 - Episode 5

This is the first season of 24 that I have watched (I plan to go back and watch season 1 - 3), and I am very impressed.WMA Workshop key 2.1
It is great to have a show with real characters that make tough, real world decisions. Both good & bad guys make the hard, but correct decisions. When Jack robbed the store, when they killed the girl, when the guy martyred himself & when they broke the gas pipe. The were decisions they did not want to make but the knew they had no choice and made them.WMA Workshop key 2.1
I am still amazed how much can happen in one hour, but it does not distract from the show.WMA Workshop key 2.1
One of the most appealing things is the pace of this show, there is no wasted time, if it happens, it is to move the story forward.WMA Workshop key 2.1
At least I don't need much sleep.WMA Workshop key 2.1

White NoiseWMA Workshop key 2.1
Michael Keaton stars in the new thriller. Is is based on the premise of EVP or Electronic voice phenomena. Basically the dead talk to use thru electronic devices. They can be heard by playing recorded sesions on un-tuned TVs or radios.WMA Workshop key 2.1
After the death of his wife Keatons's character tunes into these EVP voices and finds his wife among other things.WMA Workshop key 2.1
The basic idea for this movie is pretty good, although some of it reminded me of The Ring (Ringu) series of movies.WMA Workshop key 2.1
They had some goog "made you jump" scenes & decent characters. This would make a great rental.WMA Workshop key 2.1
I can not recommend spending the money to see this on the big screen, but if you like ghost stories, rent it.WMA Workshop key 2.1

I was getting tired of hearing people talk about 24, a show I had never watched.WMA Workshop key 2.1
I thought the premise was strange and was not a big Kiefer Sutherland fan.WMA Workshop key 2.1
I DVRed the first 4 episodes of this season, season 4.WMA Workshop key 2.1
I am pretty impressed, I have added this show to my watch list. (like I need to watch more TV)WMA Workshop key 2.1
The writing is nice and tight. Good strong characters that seem to have fully fleshed out backrounds. It has high production & direction values.WMA Workshop key 2.1
Although it is truely amazing what can happen in 1 hour.WMA Workshop key 2.1

Lost Voyage
It shouldn't be counted as a movie, but...WMA Workshop key 2.1
The movie Lost Voyage is about a ship that returns from the Bermuda Triangle after 25 years. Judd's charaters parents were on the ship when it disappeared. This is the story of what happens when they get back on the ship.WMA Workshop key 2.1
It was like a car wreck, I just couldn't turn away.WMA Workshop key 2.1
My advice, don't look in the first place.WMA Workshop key 2.1

It seems where things go when then disappear is hell. The ship comes back and it starts killing the people who went to investigate it. A little while later a cloud comes in loaded with evil spirits that suck out peoples souls. Ok then....WMA Workshop key 2.1

Lost
I hope you have all been watching the TV show Lost.WMA Workshop key 2.1
It is IMHO, one of the two best dramas on TV today. It has excellent writing & production. An amazing ensemble cast that has eye candy for both men and women.
The male lead is Matthew Fox (Jack), the female lead is Evangeline Lilly(Kate)WMA Workshop key 2.1
The head up a group of people stranded on an island in the middle of nowhere after a plane crash. I was very surprised this show turned out to be as good as it is.WMA Workshop key 2.1
Tune in, you will enjoy it.WMA Workshop key 2.1

Allison Krauss
Caught the Allison Krauss & Union Station concert on CMT tonight.WMA Workshop key 2.1
She is an outstanding performer, and Union Stion is just as good. Most people would recognize her voice (and the rest of the band) from a couple of sons from the film O Brother Where Art ThouWMA Workshop key 2.1

My first DVR experience
After a very long time of listening to people tell me I need a DVR, SBC made me a deal I could not refuse.WMA Workshop key 2.1
Part of the package is DISH network.WMA Workshop key 2.1
I have the 522 reciever/DVR. It has two tuners & can tape two shows at once, or tape one while you watch another.WMA Workshop key 2.1
So, I set it up to record all of our shows. Last night it taped Smallville, Lost & Alias. WMA Workshop key 2.1
I started watching lost after it was over on one TV, hit stop & picked up where I left off on a different TV. Very cool.WMA Workshop key 2.1
I look forward to watching this weekend's Packer game with the ability to pause & rewind.WMA Workshop key 2.1
